While waiting on ROFR, I have a ?

Not a member yet, still waiting on ROFR, but thinking positive, so I was wondering does anyone know how many studios there are in each of the different DVC resorts. DS's are old enough to get their own room now so they don't have to share a bed, and 2 studios uses less points than a 2 bedroom, so that's why I was wondering about how many studios there are in each resort. We plan to travel starting January 1st of each year when Adventure season starts. Hopefully we will be able to secure ressies at the other resorts at the 7 month window, feel like OKW will be no problem at 11 months. What are your thoughts on these and anything else that relates to this topic. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Just FYI - you can request that studios be close to each other (no guarantees), but none of the WDW DVC resorts have connecting studios.

When my sis and her dh decided to go with us in October-I called member svs to get a studio (for them) or change to a 2 bedroom. Was told to request a one bedroom with a connecting studio-much less points. (This was the BCV) She explained this way we're by each other otherwise couldn't guarantee we'd be by each other.

You were misinformed. 2 studios cost less points than a 1 bedroom and a studio.

If you are going to get a 1 bedroom and a studio, you might as well reserve a 2 bedroom. A 2 bedroom unit costs less points than a studio and a 1 bedroom booked separately.

Requests are not guarantees. You cannot count on getting a 1 bedroom that connects to a studio if you book them as two separate units.
