While on our way to Disney.....Yuck!!!

Yesterday, while on our merry way to Disney for the day, DH and I were stopped at a traffic light. A huge truck carrying heavy equipment pulled up next to us. Just before the light turned green, the man in the truck rolled his window down and hurled chewing tobacco right onto the hood of my new car!!!!! I saw RED!!!!! I immediately looked up at the driver and he realized what he had done and quickly averted his eyes, in fact, picked up a phone and pretended to be talking. DH was already pulling away and I was hollering, "Look what he did" while pointing to the now nasty hood. DH just snickered and drove on. I know the man didn't plan to actually hit our car, in fact, I don't think he would have spit had he known we were next to him, but.....yuck!!! Ever had anything like this happen?

Look what time I posted this! I best start counting sheep!

I think I can top that one. Several years ago, I was proudly driving my first very own car. A little econo box, a Dodge Omni, a basic, standard model, but it was brand new and all mine! I stopped at a stop light and there was a horse trailer ahead of me. Imagine my horror when the occupant of the trailer--a horse--proceeded to urinate all over the hood of my nice, shiny, brand-new car! I was so mad I couldn't see straight! There was a car wash right on the corner of the intersection and I drove immediately in to have my car washed. Well, everyone in the carwash had seen the "incident" and that along with my exquisite chargin put everyone--employees and customers--into a fit of laughter. Well, the situation just fed on itself. The madder I got the more people laughed, etc. I even asked the carwash owner to call the police(I had the trailer's license plate number) and asked if anyone there would be a witness. This created even more laughter. Someone said he always wanted to be on court tv! Comments were made to the effect of you can't arrest a horse for peeing! Well, years have passed and I'm a "kinder, gentler" person. I've learned the only thing you can do in such situations is laugh it off and head for the nearest carwash!

used to love to tell us stories of his life........for which I am always grateful......well one story he told us was when he had been working and sanding down a whole house of wood.....all the wood windows and door frames ect.......well he was on his way home and he rolled down his window to get rid of some of that horrible dust and a car pulled up to fast next to them and he hurled it into that car .....INTO it.....he was so embarassed.......he did not say a thing and the driver of his vehicle kept on going
