Wow... that looks great, considering I N G is only offering 2.35% at the moment. It seems to have all the of insurance requirements, like FDIC, etc. I am VERY tempted. Right now I have some money tied up in a 1 yr CD that is getting 3% and I was happy to find that! Looks like I may be closing my ING accounts!....................P

Another positive for Emigrant I noticed on their website is that they compound their interest daily and not monthly as ING does. ING is still much better than regular savings banks, which do compound daily for the most part, but Emigrant at 3% compounded daily sounds like the best deal! I would still recommend opening an ING account though through a referral because you can't beat the $25 start-up bonus they give (or $50 offered through that tax return preparation software program)!

I am having trouble finding all the information on that site. Do you know the minimum balance or deposit requirement on savings?

I signed up with Emigrant yesterday and am just waiting for them to deposit two smalll amounts in my linked account, just like ING does. I will report back on how long it takes and how things go with them.
