Planning on escaping a cold Canadian Xmas this year! We are a fam of 6 adults. 3 crazy Disney chicks and 3 boys that couldn't care less.
We will be checking out on the 25th to head to St. Petersburg. Would love to do a late breakfast or brunch for Christmas. Any ideas for this? We will not have tickets for this day.
Would even consider something off property if it was really good.
Thanks for your help.

I would make a reservation at one of the Disney Hotels and then spend some time checking out the holiday decor there and any surrounding resorts - maybe The Wave at The Contemporary and then monorail over to the Poly and Grand Floridian and then hop on the boat and go over to Wilderness Lodge

Grand Floridian Cafe does Brunch from like 9am to 2pm. It's very good and the GRand Floridian is amazing at Christmas time. The smell from the life size gingerbread house in the lobby is incredible with the most grand Christmas tree.
ORRRRRR... a character breakfast could always be fun! what a better way to spend Christmas morning than with the fab 5??? I think your non park choices are chef mickeys, topolinos, cape may and ohana for mickey and friends. Otherwise 1900 park fare, bon voyage on boardwalk I think are the only other non park character meal options, but they have face characters!

Boma. Awesome breakfast buffet. And the Christmas decorations and especially the tree at AKL Jambo are really wonderful. You could also wander out onto the savanna overlook to check out the animals.

I agree with the posts above. I love AK but would probably pick GF above all else for Christmas.
Although (and I haven’t actually been to Homecomin’ restaurant so can’t comment on that) if you went to Disney Springs on your final day, you could finish up with a walk through the Christmas Tree Trail, which is fab! One of my favourite Christmas activities, and FREE!!

I would choose a resort breakfast. The Grand Floridian Cafe comes to mind because it is so darn pretty in there, and then you could enjoy the lobby and it's decorations.

If you wanted to get off of the beaten path you could book Boma or go to Sanaa for breakfast. AKL is stunning at Christmastime. That tree in the lobby is magnificent, and the music is distinctly different but so familiar at the same time.
