Whiche week would be better?

Which week would be better for less crowds and weather. We're looking May 9th thru May 19th....or...May 19th thru May 25th. Any experiences with these dates..one is Mother's Day and the other is the week before Memorial Day? TIA

THis past may was the beginning of happiest celebration or whatever it is so it was more crowded than in the past. Late may started star wars weekends so I'm sure that increased crowds to some extent as well. We purposely planned our stay for that later week since it was just before memorial day guests, had star wars weekends, and was a couple of weeks after start of the celebration. It was really crowded but wasn't overwhelming.
