If we pick just one of the world showcase movies to see, which one should we choose?

Although Canada is quite spectacular the lack of seating is not appreciated by some in our party.

Another vote for France since the video is a wonderful representation of all things French, whilst the music will seem very familiar to most guests :goodvibes

If you don't care about sitting, China has an awesome show in the round.

France. Definitely France. China and Canada have good films but you have to stand for goodness sake. I saw the film in Norway one time and now skip that. That one was a "one and done"

We saw the ones at Canada and France, and at my age I'm not a fan of standing up for a movie, no matter how great it is. I'd choose seating at this point. Also saw that smaller children did not do as well when having to stand for a movie!
:yay:

Canada with France a close second. I love the music for France especially the Saint Saen Organ Symphony at the end which is one the most wonderful pieces of music ever written.

I totally agree with France for this very reason. The music is divine.

We also like China and Canada but haven't done those for a while. Not for us and the standing but because others don't always know it's standing so it's distracting when younger people don't get it and we have to hear "do not sit on top of the rails" over and over again. But, both films are very good if you can get past that.

We always stay for the film in Norway. Five minutes of my time to appreciate a vastly different country. I think I will survive that five minutes.

My vote is for China. But in full disclosure, I don't think I've seen France.

Impressions de France in France!

I love, love, love that thing! I've watched it several times in a row and I unconsciously smile when in plays on Live 365. My DD caught me, I had no idea!

The music is just beautiful.

Canada for the humor, France for the artsy, and China for the spectacle.

Maybe that helps. For me, depends on our mood as to which we choose. I tend to like China, wife likes France.

Another vote for Impressions de France.

I love the music (Debussy, Ravel, Saint-Saëns, etc.) and the breathtaking scenery (some of which I'm looking at through my hotel window in Normandy as I type this).

I never miss Canada. It's a pain having to stand after walking around the park but it's worth it - I love the music and the scenery and I always end up with the song stuck in my head.

I don't think we've ever seen the China one - will have to add that to the list for this fall.

I do love the France one though - we watch it every year. The Canada one is good, but I am not a fan of standing.

Thanks everyone. Looks like France is the winner. We'll see how my family likes it and then maybe I can convince them to try the other countries as well.
