Even though my knees start knocking when I think of flying from IND
to San Diego and AM BOUND AND DETERMINED to do it...but I need a rental
car from the air port. I've had good experience with dollar in WDW but would
like some input about SAN. I only need it for Thurs pm-Monday pm...would it be
wiser to rent for a week rather than 5 days??? Any help would be most appreciated.

I finally booked with National and got a really really good rate. If you go through this link
http://www.travelcouponsonline.com/best.html

They have some really good deals and they tell you which rental car company is at the terminal and which isn't. Enterprise isn't by the way. Avis, Budget, Dollar, L&M, and National are the only ones at the terminal.

To give you an idea how much I saved the absolute cheapest rate that I could get through National's website was $185 over the phone I was quoted over $225. I finally ended up booking a full size car for $146.14.

I know it's hard not stressing, but try not to. Good Luck!

I only use on-site rental agencies now. National, Dollar, Avis, Budget. Go through the MCO web pages and price all four. Low bid gets the job! The only one I have not used for some time is Avis, but, they have never been the low bid.
