I wanted to go to WCC for the skillet and milkshakes but now i realized that Hollywood Studios is open later than i thought so we should stay later there, but that would mean missing WCC which we've never been to. We've been to 50's 3 times and i'm craving the peanut butter and jelly shake. Should i try for 50's and stay in DHS or leave early to go to WCC and then back to the resort?
Thanks for your advice!

As you can tell, Im a big fan of this particular milkshake.

I'd go with 50"s - wastes too much time bouncing to WL to eat and then back to the parks :confused3

We prefer 50's PTC over WCC. Add on the travel hassle and it's definitely 50's PTC.

I thought that both of these were very average in food quality and both entertaining in the fun factor. However, I don't think that the hike away from the park all the way to WCC is worth it. That is unless you have never seen WL. If that is the case I might consider it just to see the resort.

That's really a tough one. 50s Prime Time is my favorite restaurant on property, which is why I would say to go there, plus the fact that you'll be saving time. On the other hand, I would say do WCC because you have never done it before. However, I think time is the deciding factor here, so I would recommend 50s.

We've been to both and I prefer WCC the resort is beautiful and worth a look at if you've never visited before. The food was better there too. We got the skillet. I don't think we've ever laughed so much our waitress was hysterical.
The 50's PT was fun too, just not as impressive. The food was okay, although the fried cheese was yummy!
Either way you don't have a bad choice.

I think I'm in the minority. I would definitely pick 50's over WCC. We ate at WCC in September and it was the worse meal of our trip. DH and I shared the skillet and I thought everything on it that I ate was terrible. DH was hungry and ate some of the ribs and chicken and ended up sick all night (they were the only two items I didn't try because I didn't like the other stuff). The only thing we found tasty was the shakes, and service was terrible. 2-1/2 hours we were there. Never again. We haven't done 50's in about six or seven years but we used to eat thereh all the time and always enjoyed it.

I'd definitely pick 50's PTC over WCC. For us the antics were better at 50's. We also would hesitate to trek all the way to WCC from DHS just for dinner.

I'd go with 50s. Last year I was really eager to eat at WCC for the skillet. We made a special trip out there just for it. In the end it was a let down. The food was just ok, and the atmosphere was nowhere near as fun as I was lead to believe. Then again, it was the last day of our trip and we were pretty burned out by then. DW and I really liked 50's though even though it is a little cramped compared to WCC.

thanks for all your advice. i think i'll take it and go with 50s, and maybe go to wcc in march. i do love that peanut butter shake.

just curious, how long would it take to get from dhs to wcc?

if we did eat at wcc then after dinner it's pretty much just time to go back to the resort, which means missing out on three hours of dhs time.

thanks!
