We're going with the Deluxe Dining -- and I wanted to do at least 1 of the Signature Meals

Would you do Hoop De Doo Revue or the Luau? We're taking our 2 yr old daughter....

In addition, which meal would you do at the Castle? Lunch or Dinner?

I'd do the luau over HDD but that's just because I really don't like the HDD. I Can't give you a reason why, it's just something I don't need to do again. That being said- I am sure you will get a lot of differing opinions becasue O'hana's has been getting some bad reviews lately in regards to the food. Is there anything else that might appeal to you instead?

As for CRT- i'm all at that age for whatever time your dd will appreciate it the most in her daily schedule!

ok, polar opposite from the above poster here...

we love the HDD and have always found the luau to be "flat" in comparison.

i would pick the HDD for a 2 year old because....

even thought they won't get the jokes, they will enjoy the laughter and join in. the characters are quite over the top and silly and they might enjoy that.

also the audience partisipation part of the HDD might amuse them. people dressed in silly costumes being goofy.

lastly the oppertunity to swing your napkin in the air, sing along and make tons of noise with a big spoon and a wash board would be a hoot for just about any 2 year old.

(oh and even at 2 my daughter could eat the heck out of a BBQ rib and some fried chicken. the food at the luau was not something she enjoyed.)

I have never heard many good things about the Luau, so I would go with HHD. Cindy's I would pick lunch if your into the characters since they are not circulating at dinner. Niether are a must do on our family's list. Any reason why you picked these two?

I would not hessitate to take your 2yo to any of the Sig ding restaurants if thats holding you back

I would guess the 2 year old was the reason:rotfl: The rest of the signature restaurants would be to stuffy for a baby IMO

When our DD were small we went to places we would blend in;)

"In addition, which meal would you do at the Castle? Lunch or Dinner?"

Lunch and breakfast are character meals. At dinner there is a short show by the Fairy Godmother and Suzy and Perla are in attendance. In all cases Cinderella is downstairs for pictures. Just in case this is important to you or your daughter.

Done both HDDR and Luau with littles ones. HDDR is the winner. By a long shot.

I didn't care for the Luau, it was more of a comedy show, but yesterday my 4 1/2 yo DD asked to go back. She went when she just turned 3. She loved being on stage with the hula dancers.

I don't think my DD would like HDD very well and neither would the rest of our family.

You may want to watch both on youtube.com with your DD to get an idea of what she likes best.
