We have too many ADR's booked and need to make some decisions. Here's what's on the line:

Crystal Palace for 10:30 breakfast on our 1st day at parks, it works very nicely with our Fastpasses and we have a 4:15 dinner at O'hana that day (latest I could get for dinner). This one is convenient since we are in the park that day.

1900 Park Fare for 10:30
breakfast on our last day of parks, then will go to Epcot & have 5:30 dinner that night at Captains Grille. How long/difficult will it be to go from POR to GF to Epcot??

1900 Park Fare for 4 PM early dinner
on our Animal Kingdom day...yes, we would have to leave the park early but would plan on that anyway for AK...it's the only dinner time I could get here for the week, so I snagged it. Same question as above: How bad would it be to go from AK to GF?

For what it's worth, we have never eaten at 1900, but did have CP once and loved it. I am trying to make an effort to visit new places this trip, but not if it's not an easy fit. Also consider, that we are not going for the characters. At all. We will get a couple of cute photos if they come around, but will mostly want a good meal. For your consideration, here are our other ADR's: Lunch at BOG, and the rest are all dinners: Hoop De Doo, Captains's Grille, Ohana, Planning on House of Blues when it becomes available, and Tutto Italia. I will also have to eliminate one of the above. :(

I would not eat at 1900 twice in one trip, even though they may be different meals. I'd get rid of the 1900 10:30am breakfast. Plus since youre already in MK, it makes sense to eat at CP...plus you do have FP's there. You said your not there for characters so i thought i would mention that i absolutely love the breakfast food at CP. Pooh's puffed french toast and the breakfast lasagna are two of my faves dishes there! :) I love that they have made-to-order eggs/omlettes plus choc chip pancakes. I personally didn't think the breakfast at 1900 was that great.

To answer your question, to get from AK to 1900 PF simply take the Grand Floridian bus from AK to the resort.

So, is 1900 for dinner good enough to trek from AK to GF to keep that ADR? I kind of want to see inside the GF and this would be our chance.

We love CP brft, a must-do for us! I would keep it as you said you liked it before and works in your MK plans. Agree with PP to keep dinner at 1900PF and skip brft. Dinner is a lot of fun with the stepsisters, and good variety on the buffet - be sure to try the strawberry soup! It will be nice for you to see the GF as well, and it is easy to hop the bus from AK to GF. I'd keep trying for a later ADR if you might want to see any of the evening activities at AK(not sure when you are going if ROL may be up and running ;)).

Important consideration would be that dinner and breakfast at 1900PF are two completely different character sets. Is that an issue for you?

Pooh and Tigger appear at breakfast. They are not at dinner.

We have done both 1900 for breakfast & dinner and I personally would keep the dinner. The character interaction is amazing..

I would ditch 1900 breakfast simply for convenience sake. Going from POR to GF to EP is going to take up a LOT of time.

I would keep CP breakfast as it's convenient and keep 1900 Park Fare, however, can you get a later time? Also, if you aren't interested in the characters and just really want to see GF, maybe consider dinner at GF Cafe instead?

If you are going for good food, vs anything else, I would drop BOG. We have eaten lunch there a couple of times (and breakfast once) and have always been disappointed with the food. It always feels like it's been sitting under a warmer for much too long. And the fries have always been cold. The atmosphere is great, but the food, not so much so. Wait... I did like the cupcake (try the grey stuff, it's delicious!).

I would also drop the CP ADR for day 1. I don't like to be rushed on my first day of vacation and if something goes wrong or there are delays on my travel day, I don't want to be trying to get up early just to make a breakfast ADR. MK is supposed to have a few more quick serve breakfast options coming soon. Perhaps you could try one of those on day 1? I think I would go for the waffle at Sleepy Hollow! :)

Have a great trip!

1900 Dinner is my favorite character buffet. I've always been happy with the food (the characters, not so much, but we had two unusual experiences that are almost guaranteed not to happen to you). In spite of that, we have a dinner reservation there for our upcoming trip and I'm hoping the third time is the charm for the character interaction.

We like the breakfast and actually have it booked on our next trip, but only because it's my birthday and we are staying in the hotel, so I thought it would be fun to celebrate there for that meal. If it was between breakfast or dinner, dinner would get my vote.
