Which would you drop? Lunch at Tusker, Crystal Palace or Garden Grill

We have free dining for 7 days so 7 table service meals, and are currently holding ADR's for 9 table service credits. It's just DH and myself, so three character meals may be too much. The characters/experience are a nice plus for me, but DH only cares abut food quality. Which of these would you cancel? We also have Ohana, BOG, Le Cellier, The Wave, Teppan Edo, and Mama Melrose's Fantasmic Package.

CP has Pooh and Friends, and it's great, but I like Garden Grill better. You get Mickey, Pluto and the Chipmuncks and the food is great. And the scenery is fantastic, I love the rotating scenes.

By your other choices, it seems you like Asian food? If you're looking for a different option I have to say Le Cellier is one of our favs for date night. I love a good steak and my husband doesn't care for ethnic food, no it's a win win for us. There are other, seemingly better steak places outside the parks, but it annoys me to waste 60-90 minutes of my vaca every day to leave the parks for a meal. Unless it's at my resort, or very near it, I'm not a fan of leaving the parks for meals. Takes way too much of my precious Disney time. :)

CP was a beautiful location but kind of loud and crowded. I'd drop that one. Full disclosure: we are not big Pooh fans so that may have something to do with it.

Thank you! We do have a Le Cellier ADR that I forgot to add to the post. I just edited the original post to add it. After reading your reply, I can't wait to try it. First time at Le Cellier!

YAY! My hasband and I had the Porterhouse for Two a few weeks ago and it was fantastic! The sides were delicious and so much much food! along with the cheddar cheese soup and poutine we had to have as well. :) It's so fun! I love the atmosphere and the neat castle it's in!

Another vote for dropping CP....After 30 years of staring into Crystal Palace and wanting to go we went as a large group a few years ago. The food was pretty disappointing and the characters weren't around. Now I am grown man, I don't need the characters but based on the food, I won't go back. Easily my worst experience as far as food quality on site.

I love all meals at The Crystal Palace. No way would I drop that one. I'd drop The Garden Grill the new non breakfast meal doesn't look appealing.

I would also drop Crystal Palace. The meal is a little more "basic" to me, we loved Garden Grill lunch and always love Tusker House for any meal.

If characters are more important, drop GG as you will already see some of the characters at TH. I actually don't like the food at either CP OR GG! Personally, I would do TH and 1900 Park Fare breakfast - better food and lots of characters.

Whatever you do KEEP TH! I think it's the best buffet on property (slightly edging out Boma.):earsboy:

I had lunch at GG just last week. The food was good. My 18 month old would have eaten all the pot roast if I'd let him. I was a fan of the turkey myself. I also liked the salad, mashed potatoes, and macaroni and cheese very much.

Actually from your list, I would drop BOG, but if it had to be one of the three you mentioned, I would also drop Crystal Palace. I like the Garden Grill breakfast, but not so crazy about their other meals.

If I want turkey or pot roast I go to the Liberty Tree Tavern. Yum!!!!

Some people are looking for characters, though, and there are no characters at LTT. Also, those restaurants are in different parks, so one may work better than the other based on schedule. My point was just that I was at GG last week and the food was good.
