DH said the other day he really didn't wnat to go back to Disney till DD was taller. Well she i only 37 inches now, so that can be awhile before she is the height for the big rides. (I'll keep on him about that one, LOL)
So I was thinking of just going to Orlando this year if I can find a cheap flight and doing stuff there. Would you do the 2 Universal parks? Or would you do Sea World and maybe drive over to Bush Gardens for a day? What other Orlando attractions are fun to do that I might not know about. (Not Wet and Wild)
And then I may see if I can find a cheap flight to California as well. Last year they had one for 120 round trip with a sale. If i find that again..knock on wood.. I think I would do that. I have 1 day Disney tickets that are left from years ago and have been told I can trade them in for Disneyland tickets. So I we could do one day there. Would you by a second day and do the CA as well? I don't really know if DH would want to do 2 days either. We have some friends out in CA that would be nice to visit as well. Our trip would only be 4-5 days. How about Universal California?

If you don't mind driving to Busch gardens, you might as well drive to Tampa and goto the Florida Aquarium. There's a lot for kids and it's one of the better aquariums I've been to.

All the parks you mentioned will have height restrictions, so I would go to where you'd get the most "other" entertainment...so I think I'd still choose Disney World. There are a lot of things still available to your child, and nothing is as Magical as the Magic Kingdom.

I LOVE Universal Studios and Island of Adventures, but you are going to have the same problem, only there are MORE height restricted rides, which would be even more frustrating.

That's just my opinion though! :cool2:

universal and ioa have some really big rides. Although one does have dr suess land. I would say do Sea World, Shamus happy harbor is alot of fun. Also BG in Tampa has big rides too, but they do have the little dinoland area. I would be inclined to say that the Disney parks are way more little kid friendly. JMHO. Have fun where ever you go.

I have to agree avout Disney, but DH has already vetoed it. Plus it will be nice to try other things too. Plus if we went to Disney, I would insist on staying on property. So going to Orlando would be cheaper if we look for a chepaer hotel. And I am always in Disney mode when there, so this will give a chance to relax and do other stuff, if we go. He also suggested going to Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge. But to fly would cost us over 400 per person. And driving is a long ways for our 3 year old. She doesn't do wel lafter 2 hours in a car, so I don't think we could stand it much longer. I think it's 8 to 10 hours if I remember right to drive there.
