Hi!

My husband and I are planning a year-end trip, but can't decide which month. We would either be going in the middle of October or during the 1st or 2nd week of December (low crowds). We can't seem to break the tie between these two months, so we need your help! Would you rather be there in October during Food and Wine Festival or in December during the Very Merry Christmas Party? Can anyone give me some descriptions of each? Also, is it still typically hot in October? I read the answers to all these questions on various websites, but would rather have some first hand accounts. Thanks!

Oct is the food/wine festavial at Epcot and MNSSHP at MK.

plus some golf tournment.

I like Dec better. - there is more to do in the parks in Dec. MVMCP at MK, Candlight Procession at Epcot, Christmas lights at Studios, plus all the resorts and DD are decorated too....

Christmas around the world at Epcot is nice too!!!

The Osbourne Lights at the Studios are nice, as are the Holiday decorations. I haven't been to the MVMCP or the Candlelight.

October is the best with the golf tournament and the two water parks being open. The kids'll be in school either month, I guess. The weather and Food & Wine make up for the moderate vs. value rates. The October weather is typically ideal (if you like sunny and warm) but let's keep this a secret, okay? :rotfl2:

EIF&WF: an opportunity to taste different foods and drinks. Can't wait to go back! :cool1:

December - It will be beautiful around Christmas!

That one is easy for me... October is Halloween month... and I love halloween...

My pick, October
Whatever your pick will be... Enjoy

Thanks for your feedback everyone! Looks like December wins. Plus, I'm hoping to be pregnant at the time we go, so I'm thinking there's no way he's going to get to try all that great wine without me! December it is!

Hope these turn out!

Congrats on your place! I moved 2yrs ago, and I'm still trying to get it together. Try to have fun during the process . . . :goodvibes

This past year I went both Oct and December. Loved December-but don't be fooled about 'low season' it's crowded (but not as bad as Oct). Osborne Lights did it for me-felt like I had died and gone to Christmas heaven. Oct has the heat (and humidity) and December was rather chilly (but I live in Seattle and am used to it).
