I am looking at a 3 night cruise for either November or December of this year. Nov. 20th or Dec. 15th. I want to be able to swim at Castaway Cay. Is it noticably warmer in November or should I just book the most convenient time? Should i be worried about rough seas?

I would go with December since the ship will be decorated for the holidays.

It's been awhile since I cruised in early December but from what I recall, the weather at CC was great, although the seas were a bit rough.

We went in December this year and although it was upper 70's, Castaway was still too cold for us. Although I don't get in the pool unless pool temp is >80.
I won't do December again for this reason, even though it was absolutely beautiful.

It really depends on your tolerance. We just sailed for Christmas and swam happily in the upper 70s temps, while other people were cold. We sail every Thanksgiving, and only once was it too cold and windy to swim at that time.
