a 5 day Park Hopper Pass (for the price of 3 days)

or pay about $25 - 30 more and get the

Southern California Attraction City Pass
- 3 day park hopper
- 1 day Knotts Berry Farm
- 1 day Sea World
- 1 day San Diego Zoo

I can add either to my Disneyland Package.

That would depend on what YOUR plans are. Are you planning to visit the other attraction ? Do you have time to add these to your plans? If you are not planning to go to these attraction or do not have the time to add them, then I would go for the 5 day hopper. If you were planning on going to these attractions then go for the City Pass.

KBF can be added pretty easily it is only a short drive from Disneyland. The Zoo and Sea World would require you to either drive to San Diego (about 1 1/2 - 2 hours depending on traffic each way) or to stay at a hotel in San Diego.

It is really a personal choice and what that would depend upon your current plans and / or the ability to switch them.

It all depends on your plans - do you want to stay in the Anaheim area or are you planning to spend a couple of days in San Diego? Do you have a car that you will be driving? If you don't plan on having a car for your trip (just stay at DLR area) then stick with the 5 day parkhopper and have a blast! There is plenty to do right there and it would be more relaxing than trying to drive to SD and do the zoo and Sea World. Don't get me wrong the zoo and SW are very nice but unless you have a car and plan to spend the night in SD then I would stay put.
All depends on you!

Figure you'll throw-away at least one of Sea World, Zoo, or KBF. That and the fact that discounts are so readily available for all SoCal attractions (but DLR), you should be better off with the 5 for 3 PH and purchasing the others at the gate with a discount.

We are flying into San Diego and will have a car. We are planning on going to Sea World and maybe Knotts Berry Farms.. I am just worried that if we decided to do more than 3 days at DL would we be out of luck. I could buy a one day pass to DL and still come out ahead, but I couldn't park hop.

Uncle Buck, thanks for the info on the discounts. If I can find heavily discounted tickets to Sea World and Knotts Berry, it may not be such a good deal. Any suggestions on how to get these discounted tickets.

If it is a possiblility to get your passes from AAA or Disney Travel Company? I would go for a passport Plus - it has "unlimited" fastpasses and is a real timesaver on your vacarion.

I was saddened on our last day of vacation to upgrade the passes to Annual.....I got real uses to the extra fastpasses!!!!!!

Passport Plus

Currently at Knott's, you can bring in a Pepsi product (bottle, can, etc.) and adults get in for $24.95 and kids for $8.95. Offer is good any day of the week, but does not include Halloween Haunt nights.

We've used a discount at Sea World before...just can't remember if it was from the Entertainment book or not.
