I currently have a reservation for Minnie's Holiday Dine, but I think I might want to cancel and get the Star Wars Dessert Party instead.

Anyone have any advice?

Boy, that's like comparing apples and oranges....or watermelons! First question: kids or no kids?

We have a DD9 and a DD2.

We are doing the pirates and pals cruise with dessert. But we are also doing Tusker house and ohana breakfast . (Also Hollywood and vine breakfast and crystal palace breakfast).

We aren't big dinner buffet people but found enough on the menu to eat.

We would be going January 2 so it would be a very busy time.

Haven't been to a dessert party yet...going to my first on 12/8. Also going to H&V for the first time on 12/5...will let you know my thoughts. SW will cost more, since you'll prob. need to eat a QS meal with 9 year old. Is she into Star Wars? I'm guessing 9 would like the dessert party, 2 would prefer HV, so it's a toss up!

I'd love to hear how both go!

My daughter enjoys Star Wars but my son is a huge Star Wars fan. That's what his second birthday party was.

I would not do H&V twice in one trip even breakfast and dinner but that's just me :) seems to me unless you are REALLY into the holiday characters that the dessert party would be the more different experience with the other character meals you have.

it is also a really good value, esp with F! package, on the DDP but it is more pricey than I'd be looking to pay OOP.

If the two year old loves Star Wars, I think the 9 year old would love to experience the party...I agree with Lisa

My son is 2 he loves Star Wars.
My daughter is 9 and wants to do Jedi training.

We are paying OOP.

Did you see someone posted pictures of Star Wars dessert party on food pics thread today?
