We are booking off site with five children. We were looking at a VRBO as we couldn't get into our usual timeshare resort we typically enjoy. We can get a four bedroom house in the Windsor area for pretty reasonable. Of course, I kept looking. We can also get a two bedroom at Bonnet Creek for a similar price point. Now I am conflicted-do I give up the extra space to be closer to the action in WBC? Or am I better to have a house with more space? Experts help me please!

I'd take the 4 br at WH with your own pool. I presume you'll have a vehicle, it's a must for any vacation rental area. But we don't really mind being away from the Disney action. It's more restful.

I just looked thru the BC thread and was thinking the same...house or BC. I'm thinking a house just for the convenience factor with the pool. If you're planning on cooking the kids can be in the pool.

I would say house because the kids can occupy themselves in the pool and most have a game room as well. Windsor Hills also has a nice community center and giant pool. Having the extra room may save your sanity, especially if you get a rainy day or two..

Thanks for all the advice. A good point I didn't think of that my husband mentioned was in a house we can put the kids to bed and use the hot tub. Can't really do that at WBC as our kids are not old enough to be left unsupervised.

The difference in driving time to the parks is probably less than 10 minutes.
