Which would you choose?

My daughter is 3.5 years old. I have to choose between Chef Mickey's or Hollywood and Vine. Which would you recommend?

Thanks!

I have only been to Chef Mickey's and my kids loved it all ages. We are trying Hollywood and Vine this time because of the characters. My kids love the Disney Jr characters. Chef Mickey's has Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy and Pluto. Hollywood and Vine has Sophia, Jake, Doc McStuffins and Handy Manny. Both are buffets so there isn't much difference in the food served. If your 3.5 year old is interested in a particular character you might choose based on that. Since Hollywood and Vine is in a theme park you need admission to get in. There is an advantage to getting a reservation there before the park opens.

H and V is the only place to meet Doc. The lines to meet Jake and Sofia in the park were CRAZY. IMO it's much easier to meet the fan 5 in the parks so I'd pick Hollywood and Vine

Hollywood & Vine for sure. The food is better IMO, and also less of a hassle to get to. My kids loves interacting with the Disney Jr characters and my husband was really surprised at how good the food was!

Thanjs for your suggestions. I had an 11:00 res at Chef Mickeys and them was going to head over to Hollywood Studios. Maybe I will cancel that and just do lunch at Hollywood and Vine at 12:45.

Do you think i will need a full day at HS with a 3.5year old?

IMO, The Disney Jr characters will be harder to meet than the Fab 5. ;) My kids are more into Mickey, so we went with Chef Mickey's, but I think you should be able to meet Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto and Donald elsewhere without too much issue and reasonable lines.

If you are planning on going to HS anyway, I would stick with H&V. As for needing a full day, I would say yes for 3 reasons 1) there are a lot of shows which are only starting at certain times and take longer so it took a whole day to get them in. 2) we spent a good deal of time on character meet and greets including sully and mike (monsters inc), Ralph and Venollope, Mr. Incredible, Santa Goofy, and Phenous and Pherb, Mater and Lightning. 3) We did lunch at H&V and it was great, we did a later lunch like 130 and were able to meet characters multiple times and did several dance sessions...probably one of the longest TS meals we had the whole trip.

I would do a full day, or at least until early evening. There are so many characters there worth seeing (impossibles, wreck it Ralph).

We've been to both and like both, but I think H&V is the better choice since you're going to DHS anyway.
