which would you choose?

We are coming in on August 15th (cheeper air fare) but our park tickets and dining plan doesn't start till the 16th. Our plane lands at 10:50am so we are hoping to be at POP by 1. We want to wander around the world and have some lunch till our room is ready. I had planned to head over to the Beach Club and eat at Beaches & Cream then wander around the Boardwalk but with all the great food porn for Earl of Sandwich it makes me wonder if we should head over to DTD and eat there and wander for a while. Based on the food alone at B&C vs EoS, which would you choose?

I'd probably head over to DTD and eat at Earl. If ice cream was the draw for B&C, you can get very good stuff at Ghirardelli's DTD after lunch. Lots of shopping opps at DTD, and you can take in a movie or DisneyQuest if you like. Have a magical day!

Another vote for Earl. There's just as much to do at DTD as the Boardwalk and it's a nice place to spend an afternoon.

If you will have a car, I'd go to B&C. If not, I'd go to DTD. Transportation would be less of a hassle that way. The food both places is very good.

I also vote for Earl (although I might choose Wolfgang Puck Express instead since the meal is a bit more substantial for dinner). But the idea is the same because the draw is DTD which has more to do when you aren't visiting a park.

I vote for Earl of sandwich. We're in a similar situation, as we don't want to use our ticket until day 2 (due to it expiring 14 days after 1st use). We plan on going to DTD and enjoying the remainder of our day there.

I LOVE Beaches & Cream and it is a must do for us each trip. That being said, I think that you might get a little frustrated if you try to eat there in August in the afternoon. Since you can't make a ressie there, you have to give your name and wait for a table. B & C is so popular with everyone at Stormalong Bay Pool and also all along the Boardwalk that it stays packed. We have had better success in the later evening as a walk in. Also many people say that the food is just as good at Hurricane Hannas(the pool bar) at Stormalong bay if you are only going for the burgers and such and not ice cream, of course that is outside and it is August. I think if it were me I would walk over from Epcot one evening for a late supper. Have a great trip.

Another vote for Earl. I really like the food. We often stop there our last day and grab a sandwich to eat on the drive home.

My vote is Beaches and Cream. This is an adorable little place with great service! We were there in May and loved it! The food portions are HUGE! My DH and I split a dbl cheeseburger and I could not finish my half! The burger was very tasty and the onion rings were yummy! We split the Milky Way sundae with our DD18 and the 3 of us could not finish it! B&C has much a much better atmosphere than Earl's does and its worth a visit!

I voted for Earl between the two listed, but I would rather go to Wolfgang Puck Express next to the Earl of Sandwich. Their food is a lot better, IMO.

I've never eaten at Earl of Sandwich(but pictures of their food looks good). I've eaten and Beache & Cream, and I really like it there. The only problem is that it is so small with so few tables. I was thinking of going there during my next trip and then changed my mind. I'm not staying at BC/YC, so I don't think it is worth going over there, and possibly having a long wait for a table. As a result, I'm going to T-Rex.
