Which would you choose?

Mama Melrose or Il Mulino?

DH and I are taking an adult trip this December. We almost always eat at Mama Melrose when we travel with the kids and we love it. We tried Il Mulino once before, when it was still fairly new, and didnt have the best experience.

Given that this will be just us we would like to take advantage and do something we wouldnt do with the kids, plus I have heard better reviews of Il Mulino as of late. However we know we would have a great meal at Mama Melrose and this way we would get to see the Osborne Lights (we have seen them before so its not a "must do").

Given the situation, which would you choose?

**Edited to add, we have all our other meals set, this is the one night we know we want Italian and it is just between those 2 meals.

Between the 2, I would take the chance and goto Il Mulino.

Though I would also not leave Tutto Italia out of the choices.

I wish the menu at Tutto Italia appealed to us so that we would do the CP package there, but unfortunately, it doesnt look too good to us.
