Which would you choose?

Voted for POP. Unless you plan to live at the resort POP is more then fine. The buses are direct, the pools are nice and the price is right. You can enjoy a longer trip at the world and still stay well within your previous budget.

That being said, I really, really loved POFQ. However, now that we must get 2 rooms, a value resort is a must. We have stayed @ Pop 5 times so now it is like going home. Less than a week until we return. YIPPPEEE!!!!

Have you looked to see if you could get a discount at the Dolphin? There are so many including entertainment book. We have gotten great rates in the past. I'm not sure the 2008 rates are out yet but I would check for this on a regular basis.Sometimes you can book them for the price of a moderate.

If you have to choose between POFQ and Pop, I would go with POFQ without a doubt! I think that it is even more important in the heat( shorter bus lines). It is also a very pretty resort. You may enjoy spending a little more time there especially if the weather is unbearable. It is much nicer IMHO than POPS.

Whats nice about the Dolphin and the Contemporary, deluxe resorts ETC, it so easy to go back to your room for a break( Location,Location!). There are restaurants at Dolphin and you dont have to leave the hotel if it is very hot. I loved staying there in the summer. I felt I could walk around and shop there, have meals, do laundry and exercise if I so chose without having to leave the building and air conditioning. Plus a fabulous pool area with a waterfalls that you can sit under ( Can you tell I dont like the heat)There is also a minature golf course across the street. The Boardwalk at night is great for entertainment and walking around. You can walk to the bridge and see fireworks from Epcot or walk into Epcot in the evening or take a boat in( Of course MGM is a stone's throw away although I'm not sure if you are going there Can't wait to go back

I would pick POFQ because it sounds like thats where you really wanted to stay. It is a beautiful resort and won't have that packed-like-sardines feel because of it's size. It also does have the extra amenities as a previous poster stated. Second choice would be POP. We love it there too, but it can be very busy at peak times of the year and you would feel it. We prefer POP during a cooler and slower time of year. Have a great vacation wherever you decide!

I voted for POFQ, even though I've never stayed there, because I've heard such great things about it. My second choice would be POP for the same number of days. Last choice would be Contemporary for fewer days.
