Hey!!

We will be celebrating our 2-year Anniversary in the World this year, and I am soooo excited. Which would choose for an Anniversary dinner - Yatchsman Steakhouse or Shula's??

I would appreciate your help! :teeth:

Thanks!

IMHO there is no comparison between Shula's and YSH. Shula's is the best place for beef on property.

As long as money isn't an issue, I would DEFINITELY say Shula's. To be honest, I'm surprised YSH is "winning" the poll - the only thing I can figure out is that posters are voting on cost. (I've only read one or two negative reviews, so "one bad experience" voters don't account for the vote totals.)

Now I have only been to Shula's, but DH has been to both. He was surprised that Yachtman's was as good as it was (we went to shula's first last March; he went to Yachtman while on a business trip in Dec). He gave the edge to Yachtman only because it had the Disney atmosphere and service. While our food was TO DIE FOR at Shula's, we had just so-so service, esp for that kind of restaurant where usually your servers are tripping over themselves to make sure they are on top of things. Not so with our experience. Either way I don't think you will be disappointed. If you don't care about the "Disney" edge, then go to Shula's cause the steaks ARE divine.

Thanks for your replies...just looking to see if anyone else has anymore inputs.

I've eaten at both. Neither is romantic. Shula's is very masculine. The food and service is better at Shula's. I hated the "Football" menu, and Sebastion looking at my from the rolling cart o' cow at Shula's. Shula's is more expensive. Yachtsman can be overrun with obnoxious bratty, screaming kids running amok and throwing food. I have had some excellent meals at Yachtsman's, I've had equally as many that was sub-par.

My opinion, go elsewhere.

Citrico is by far the most romantic other than V&A's.

Bistro de Paris is also very romantic, and has an excellent tenderloin filet.

DW and I will be at Saratoga for our 25th without the kiddos (now 22 & 20) and I would love to hear some comments about the best places to go for our anniversary dinner. Since it is our 25th, price is not a consideration, just really good food and a nice relaxing atmosphere.:earsboy:

I vote for Victoria & Alberts. The experience is awesome. Individual personalized menus. Each person has their own wait person. The food is phenominal and the wines incredible. I believe it is the only 5 star restaurant in Orlando.

I know this isn't in your 'Choice's', but I have to recommend Palio's at The Swan. Great food, service, wine ...........AND strolling musicians.

Yeah I think the steaks are a little better at Shula's myself, too.

Now they just need to open up a Mortons! :smooth:
