We are having such a hard time making a decision on this.
If you had the choice, which would you choose for the 4 day cruise?

February 19, 2006 or August 6, 2006?

My initial response was Feb 19th, because it is sooner...After reflecting, and remembering our February cruise last year, I now say August!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We may have been just unlucky, but we were cold, and I would much rather be warm.....

I agree, August. We went last year in March and Castaway Cay was cold. Grand Cayman, Cozumel, and Key West were okay, although we didn't get in the water in Key West. I vote August.

My choice is overwhelmingly February...the weather is very much like here is S Florida, give or take 10 degrees..Sunny, beautiful, and 75 degrees....August on the other hand is oppressively hot and sultry, with a very good chance of rain every single afternoon.....

If I had to pick between those two dates I would pick August. Feb is just to cold for me, even in Florida! My friend went to Atlantis for a week in Jan last year and it was 40 degrees! They couldn't even swim, he said he felt like he wasted his money going where he thought it would be warm!

We have cruised frequently in Feb., both on DCL and another line. In probably a total of 8 Feb. trips, we had 2 where it was quite cold. One Feb.,at WDW I bought sweatshirts for everyone and jeans for kiddo as it was very COLD...the cruise that followed was too cold to swim. So, 6 of our 8 Feb. cruises were warm and sunny.

August is more expensive and the ship and ports will be more crowded. However, if this is a "once in a lifetime" cruise, I'd definitely go with August rather than risk the cold.

Feburary for sure, Rates are lower !

August is in the middle of hurrican season. :umbrella:

Have a great time either way :earsgirl:
