Would it be better (quickest way to ride) trying to get a VQ for Tiana’s Bayou or just get it through the LL Multi pass? My window is opening in a few days and I am trying to figure out my choices.

With LLMP you can choose your return time but depending on how far out you are from your booking day until you are in the MK, you will be limited to the return times that remain.

VQ is luck of the draw and you return time will be out of your control.

If you are talking about the amount of time spent standing in the line itself, the lightning lanes are designed to be faster than the VQ/standby lanes. At certain times of the day, there won't be much difference. But if getting into the VQ line gets you onto the ride sooner than someone getting into the lightning lane at the same time, someone (a cast member) likely made a mistake.

Are they allowing both still, VQ and LL?

I am likely going to ask alot of questions that may seem obvious to come..I tune out ALOT between trips now.

When I rode Tiana’s (back with Genie+), the LL was virtually a walk-on while I heard someone in the VQ line complain they were approaching an hour waiting.

The wait for VQ a couple of of days ago was super long I would guess is was over an hour based on the times I have seen on splash mountain and were the line was. Our LL was just under 10 minutes.

The line was full when we arrived for our VQ time, so we skipped it. LL got us on in maybe 10 minutes.

We rode the train several times while we were there and the line for VQ varied from no one outside all the way to the whole outdoor queue area full.

Our LL was definitely faster than the VQ. They were at a stand still in the hot sun and we basically walked all the way to the loading area and got right on.
