Which wireless remote should I buy for a Canon 7D?

I am going to purchase a wireless remote for my daughter and really know nothing about them. She would like as little delay as possible and to be able to trigger from both in front of and behind the camera.

Also, do you use Transcend CF? She currently has two Lexar Professional Series 16 gb 300X cards. These are now selling for $121 on Amazon. A Transcend 32 gb 400X (blue) is selling for $95.75. If the Lexar has any real advantages I will certainly buy another as she has had no problems with the two she has but if the Transcend is just as good I will buy one of those.

There are many choices, both wired and wireless.
I use the Yongnuo RF-602 (wireless RF) - it fires a flash remotely and can work as a remote shutter release (about $25) But the 7D can already fire Canon flashes off camera so you might just want to get a wired remote on ebay - less than $5

If you're getting one to be used with stabilizing the camera / tripods, you may want to consider a corded remote.

There are remotes that use "RF" frequency which do not use the Canon IF system where you have to be in front of the camera, - for example, the RF-602 and RF-603 wireless triggers

You are thinking of infrared remotes, not RF. RF won't be affected by position or line of sight. The infrared remotes can be used from behind the camera if you have a wall or something to bounce it off of.
