Which will go quickest, in your experience

My ADR date is this coming Thursday. Party of 9.

We are traveling during free dining, but not upgrading to sit down (whew! I'm actually relieved), but we are going to pay OOP for 2 sit downs. We need to do 3 ADR. In your experience, which will go quickest, so I can know which to work on first.

Be Our Guest B or L (this one I'm assuming I need to grab first)
Ohana B
Akershus L or D


this is the order I feel like I should work on finding one - doing Akershus last because the timeframe is larger. We also have hopper, so we can get a dinner really any day of our trip. Ohana B I'll preferably only want on a day we do MK or EP.

Can I say how happy I am that I'm not trying to grab 7 reservations?! and having to organize my entire trip around it. I might be in the minority, but I'm happy FD was only QS at a moderate LOL

BOG lunch and dinner will be gone about 3 months before arrival.
We arrive August 11th and there are no reservations for BOG lunch right now for a few days I have looked. There are still plenty openings for breakfast.
Akershus , just checked and there are only a couple openings for dinner around 8:00 pm. There are several lunches still open
There are still plenty of breakfast openings for Ohana.

thanks! It's my family and another family. We've agreed she's going to search for Akershus and I'm going to search for BOG the morning our ADR opens. When we have BOG then we'll schedule Ohana around that (don't want both in one day)

I don't forsee you being unable to book any of those. Just FYI since you are a large group you might have trouble with BOG. Keep in mind that you pick your own seat so if you can't find a reservation for 9 you might be able to get a 4 and a 5 or a 4, 4 and 1. They'll let you all in at the same time, as long as they are pretty close like 10-15 minutes. You can make 1 and the other family can make the other one. Oh and PREORDER!!!! Even if it's just the day before. It will save you at least 30 minutes.

Yes you are right, just realized she has 9 in the group. You might have to split the group between two reservations around the same time.

Good point about sitting anywhere. If we shared our trips and are linked on mydisneyexperience would I be able to book a reservation for her? Only ask because we won't be together the morning we make our adds and my first focus is this and hers is akershus.

No you won't but if you can't get all 9, maybe you can message her to grab one within 15 minutes of the time you got. I REALLY think you'll be absolutely fine. I would be in complete shock if you can't get these right as dining opens. If you can't find something then call. They claim they see what we see but this has not been the case many, many times for me.

thought I'd provide an update -
180 days this morning. Able to grab a 10am breakfast on our preferred day for BOG and a 7:30 breakfast at Ohana.
Akershus said absolutely no availability for our entire trip - at any meal! I'm on hold to get into an agent, but not sure I'm going to have time to stay on line (gotta get the kids up soon). The automated system said that to book that restaurant I needed a reservation with a check in date between now and Nov 13 (it's Nov 14 we check in). but online, it would let us book everything else (in fact it would let us book almost everything else if we wanted to). Anyone know if some of these restaurants go through different rules, or do you think the phone system is not updated yet since it's so early in the morning?

I dont know for sure. I would say more will be loaded into the system, try later.

There are a few restaurants where we've heard the availability hasn't fully loaded for November and Akershus is one of them (crystal palace is another)- they said to check back over the next few days-week and it should show up. Don't be discouraged-we are all in the same boat.

Snagged the Akershus today!! Got my three picks at my preferred day and bog only 10 instead of 8 but that's OK!
