Which weekend?

I'm thinking of flying down and staying at the Royal Polynesian with my DS7 for a long weekend. We'd have FOTL passes, but I'd still love to avoid huge crowds.

Also, DS loves water rides and attractions and I hate being cold, so warm weather would be a plus.

With that in mind which long weekend would you pick? Columbus Day, MLK day, President's day or Memorial day?

Thanks!

If you are seeking warm I would say Memorial Day. Who gets Columbus Day as a holiday? MLK and even Pres. Day could be chilly.

Thanks! I wonder if it's too late to get a reservation for this Memorial Day? Is Columbus Day not a holiday most places? Does that mean that there would be less crowds? What's the weather like in October?

Anyone else have a thought on Columbus Day vs. Memorial Day?

October weather can be sometimes warm, or a bit cool .. i doubt it would be too cool though, we went first week of Oct last year, wasn't too many crowds and I think it was mid 80s or so but felt much warmer. We're used to it though, since we're from Miami. Relatives from Michigan weren't - though .. lol

Between Memorial and Columbus Days Columbus will be less crowded.
