We decided to extend our vacation and now have our choice of Saturday or Sunday at MK for second weekend in June. Any thoughts on which day might be more crowded? I was thinking Saturday would be more crowded since locals might have work on Monday? But I don’t know! Any inside info? Thanks!

I think right now *nobody* knows how crowd levels are going to be. The "touring plan" guides just don't apply in this day and age and 2 months from now who knows how fast people will be comfortable going to Disney.

I just booked a trip the same time as PixieDust (June 10th) and we decided to "reserve" Sunday, June 13th as our MK day for the very reason that the post above mentioned. I figured Saturday would be large crowds.

Thought about doing Monday but we're only doing one park day this trip (thank god, I actually want to *relax* at Disney this time!) and wanted a park day in the middle of the trip.

I think I’ll change my park day to Sunday. It’s our 2nd MK day so it’s fine if it’s more crowded and we get creative with our time. We are at HS Friday (sure glad I reserved that one months back!) and I like have a rest day in between park days.

Probably doesn’t matter. Most days are filling to capacity the last few weeks, and it looks like that trend is continuing into the coming months. Both days may end up fully booked anyway.

Sunday is usually the better bet. Being local and with AP's going, a lot of friends/people I know don't go until later on a Sunday (church, sleeping in, etc) so the morning is typically a tad slower than Saturday.

We have found that Sunday morning is usually not too crowded, especially if Saturday night has a late park close time.

This has been my thinking as well. Unless Disney makes a decision to increase capacity beyond the current 35%, you can pretty much count on HS and MK being at or very near capacity 7 days a week, all summer long.

I could see Epcot, and to a lesser degree AK, having "better" and "worse" days, but even there I doubt you see too much difference on any given day of the week with the current capacities in place.
