Which week would you go?

We are scheduled for 4/28-5/5. But, I'm getting nervous that it may still be crowded with spring breakers. Should I change our reservations to 5/5-5/12? We are really flexible, so a change would not be a big deal at all. Please help me decide.

Don't know but I am bumping because we are having the same dilemma! Our choices are 5/3-5/10 or 5/6-5/14. Not too much of a difference, but the Minnie marathon on the 6th and 7th is scaring me. Then again, so is being there for Mother's Day.

Good luck with whatever dates you end up with! We'll be there at the same time!

I'd go with the earlier weeks. It shouldn't be too bad. It will start getting pretty hot the deeper you go in May.

I wouldn't worry about the college spring breakers during that last week in April - college break is usually mid to late March. School break (for those in elementary and high school) tends to be mid-April, so I think you'd be OK there, too. I agree with the previous poster - wait too much later into May and it will be pretty hot by then!

Great question. We are also planning to go April 28th to May 5th. Im thinking it will be OK but also keep second guessing myself. Would love to hear from anyone who has been there during that time re crowds and weather, I think it may be kind of hot (high 80s to low 90s?) Thanks.

Last year, we went 4/28-05/06/06 and the crowds were VERY manageable. At times, the parks were almost empty. I would go earlier rather than later, as even throughout our short trip, it became progressively warmer toward the end of our trip . . . We had a wonderful time!!

Keep your plans. As long as you aren't there the week before or the week after Easter, crowds should be fine. Have fun!

Aren't Grad Nights @ the end of April?

Grad nights are at the end of April and didn't affect us at all during our last trip. We actually chose to go to MK the day of grad night with the logic the park would be less full since those w/o hoppers wouldn't waste a day on a MK when it closed at 7pm. It worked!

We've gone for the past several years during the first week in May. It's one of our favorite times - crowds moderate, hot but not ghastly humid. Planning on it again this year - we love the Flower & Garden Fest @ Epcot. If you like oldies, don't miss the Flower Power concerts - we've seen Gary Puckett the past two years - puts on a good show. May is our absolute favorite time to go! The earlier the better, we found out this year that the later in May you go the busier it gets. We ran into several school type groups this year, such as band trips and such. Lots of kids with minimal supervision. Have fun!
