We're thinking of one of these weeks.

Which would be best for good weather and smaller crowds? (price is an issue too)

9/21/08-9/27/08

9/28/08-10/4/08

10/5/08-10/11/08

10/12/08-10/19/08

We're planning to stay at CSR.

Thanks!

I can help with crowd levels...

According to the unofficial guide crowd calendar, it looks like that first week you posted would be the least crowded of them all. (None of the weeks look really bad, but they do get progressively more crowded as you move into October.)

We stayed the 29th - 10/6 this year.
Parks were not too crowded at all. Many rides were 5 and 10 minute waits early in the day... We hardly used fastpasses at all by hitting the parks in the AM (not "early" am - usually got there around 9:30-10am)

Big ticket rides (like Soarin, Everest), tended to get busy later in the day as fastpasses ran out.

Weather was hot - started out warm and dry, then later in the week we got some unusually hot & humid (according to the weather men, it was warmer than normal). Off & on rain as I think there was some tropical activity off shore that socked us in a bit (nothing long term, just off and on for more than your usual summer cloud bursts).

Overall, very nice (we've typically gone in the summer so this was fabulous.)

Is it really THAT crowded with bounceback and free dining? I wonder how long free dining will go.......i'd love to get in on that.
From many of the reviews that I've read during Sept, it seemed like it was crowded at some of the resorts and parks. Not sure if that is always the case.
