Probably have to do a school vacation next time. Husband won't consider a summer trip to Florida.

I would opt for the February break. We have done both, although many years since we had to go during school breaks. To me, Easter was soooooo much harder!

You can check out easywdw.com for crowd levels, best time to go, etc. He has a method to the madness, and is quite entertaining in his writing style.

Presidents week doesn't just have Presidents' Day it leads into Valentines and the marathon weekend we find The crowds bad. It can also be too cold to swim so I would pick Easter.

And in 2015 Presidents Day also coincides with Mardi Gras. We went for Mardi Gras last year which was in March and crowds were lovely. They will surely be much heavier with the combined holidays in 2015.

Hmmm.....

Not thinking until 2016 or 2017. Maybe I'll take notes on what happens in 2015.

Presidents week is a bit busy with the schools in the New England states on their week long winter break, Daytona 500 race - and YES a lot of race fans stay at Disney, and Twill Mania competition is at Disney. So be prepared for lot of girls to be staying at the value resorts and when that is full they will also book rooms at CBR.

Easter on the other hand would be a lot more busier because you have a higher percentage of schools and colleges on Spring break.

I would do Presidents week. I have done both and hands down Presidents week is better but colder. So pack accordingly. Remember Feb comes after Jan which is Florida's coldest month.

Oh forgot to mention that Easter is so busy they do close the parks because they have reached capacity and will turn people away. Which usually happens as early at 10:00 a.m.! That tells you that Easter is a busy crazy time to go. Last year wait times for Soarin were as high as 5hrs. that is right 5hrs!

I see that a lot of folks seem to think that race fans will make Disney somewhat busier due to the fact that the Daytona 500 is the same week of President's Day. As a race fan, I can only see the race in Daytona making Disney world busy AFTER the Daytona 500 since the race falls the weekend AFTER President's day and most race fans spend the week in Daytona for all of the pre-race activities. I doubt that the Daytona 500 will make a big difference in overall crowds. If you plan accordingly, a trip during President's week is fine. We've been at Disney during some of the busiest times imaginable so President's week is a breeze. It IS Disney so it's typically busy anyway. I've never been when there wasn't atleast spurts of crowds and busy times. Just go and have a good time!
