Which Week in September?

I need some help trying to plan our trip this year. We want to go to Disneyland in September, we will be going most likely on a Wednesday-Thursday. We would like to go when it is least crowded.

Should we go Sept 6-7 (which of course is the Wed-Thurs following Labor Day) or should we go Sept 20-21? It's my understanding there is a marathon going on the week in between those dates right? Any other events I should know about?

I would go right after labor day, because CA screaming and HM both go down for rehab on 9/10.

Thanks for the response. Do you think it should be relatively quiet crowd-wise right after the holiday?

I would think on the Thur/Fri it wouldn't be bad.....but I will let the locals chime in......
