Which week in May?

I'm planning a trip next year for my 40th Birthday which is May 3rd. My problem is that I am a certified geek and I'm interested in Star Wars weekends. I'd also like to be there for my actual birthday and hear that there are some little things going on in HS on May the 4th. What are the pros and cons of the first week in May compared with say the 3rd week?

Actually, the closer you get towards the end of May, the busier the parks get as school's starting letting out. I am not sure when Star Wars Weekends start next year though.

We were there for the first SWW. We went Wed-Wed straddling the weekend before Memorial Day. It was perfect weather, reasonable crowds, and a time I would recommend. Obviously, dates aren't out yet, but this year, that particular weekend offered us the chance to also catch the last days of Epcot's Flower & Garden, too. Who knows what will happen next year, but perhaps @lovethattink can offer a bit about their May the Fourth experience this year.

2013 was a special May the 4th, fireworks, parent/child jedi training, pins, shirts...

2014 was Galactic Breakfast and Jedi dinner started, a shirt and a pin

2015 was the Star Wars breakfast and dinner, shirt, pin, water bottle, parent/child jta, 501st stormtroopers marching and posing for pictures escorted by Disney's imperial officers

There are rumors circulating about more than 5 weekends of SWW, which would be totally cool!!

2016 is a huge year for the Star Wars franchise! Of course, official details are never released in advance enough time for proper guest planning. So be flexible and open for whatever Disney brings our way for May the 4th or SWW!
