I have about 12 different websites to surf for airline prices. We are still waiting, hoping to get the best prices. We are planning our trip for the first week of November, so we have a little time, but not much. It used to be that certain sites would have certain deals and I would then save the info. Now, it seems like they all have the same deals with the same airline. Does it really matter who you book with?? Has anyone had bad/good experiences with a certain site or do they all ultimately buy the tickets from the same source?? We are 2 adults and 2 children, coming into Orlando(MCO)from Rochester, NY(ROC). Thanks for any info!!

I usually stick to sites that have the best prices. Unfortunately, flying from Toronto is very costly, so we are flying out of Buffalo. We got return air for 2 adults and 3 kids for $700US for Sept 28 to Oct 5th, flying with Southwest! We took advantage of the FTP plan as well.:bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

I have played around alot with various sites. I still get my best deals by first going to Yahoo(easy site to use and fast) find out what airlines are the cheapest and then going to that airlines web site. I usually get it the cheapest there. Some airlines do not show up on a group site so I sometimes check theirs separate. Over time you will get a feel for what airlines have good discounts for where you are flying out of. For instance I have never seen a good fare for southwest air out of detroit, but if you are patient NWA will occasionally have some. Sometimes the cheap ones are available for a short time, and since I have to work I miss them. On one board I read where the rates are lower Wednesday through Saturdays and I have found this to be true with NWA.

We just booked Philadelphia to Orlando in January. We got the best deal by calling the airline direct! We got $201.50, and even though Travelocity and a couple others gave that price, or $206, there were shipping and handling or other fees involved. I have never used any other site, so I'm not sure about them.

Good luck!
