I want to surprise my DW with a trip to WDW next year. Tell me what you think.

Thanks!

That's so very sweet of you. I prefer a longer trip myself. :teeth:

The LONGER the BETTER!

Plus, we love POFQ anyways...so it's a win win!::yes::

My Dw and I love WDW. We've been several times and always have a great time. We usually go for 7 nights.

Here's a DUMB question. Is it possible that either one of us could get tired of WDW on a 2 week trip?

I voted for the WL for 10 nights. It seems to be in the middle of the voting choices (a middle length trip balanced between concierge and a moderate). Plus, I noticed that you spent your honeymoon there, so it might be really romantic to return there.

I voted for 14 days at POFQ. ::yes:: But 10 days at the WL would be great too. :) I guess I just go for the longer trip. :)

I voted 8 nights at the Boardwalk. I love that area and that trip is great compromise between luxury and time spent.

I know this is not on your list, but have you thought about a Land/Sea vacation.

IMHO, there is nothing more romantic that walking the deck at night. I also LOVE WDW so we always do both.

14 Nights at the French Quarter. :D The longer the better. ::yes::

8 nights at Boardwalk - you cannot beat the location!! We stay at the Beach Club Villas and we love to leisurely stroll to Epcot and MGM (our 2 favorite parks). We do board the busses for the occasional trip to AK or MK.

While I usually go for the longest possible trip, I went with 8 nights at BW. It's a great location, with some great amenities. Good restaurants right there. You can walk to both MGM and Epcot. Or just laze around the pool. A nice change from the moderates. Otherwise, I would go with POFQ for a longer time.

I voted for 14 @POFQ. But I guess it would really depend on what time of year you were thinking of going! When its busier, the extra time comes in handy so that you can have more breaks from the parks to do other things (swimming, golf, shopping, spas, etc). If you go during value season, then upgrading your choice of hotel and the smaller crowds still gives you plenty of park time and time to do other things!

I chose WL!!! Have stayed at POFQ and disliked it! We are staying at Poly next...so I can't imput on that! But, we LOVE WL!! We stayed there 3 times and everytime we vow to return!

Well I would have to say, if my DH were going to surprise me with a WDW trip, I would be happy with any of the above, but if I had my choice, the longer the better. I am sure she will be happy with whatever you decide, good luck and enjoy!!!

I voted for 14 days...the longer the better! I wouldn't care which Disney resort I stayed at because they are all really nice. My family usually stays at Port Orleand Riverside and we love it there!

For me, I would pick BW for 8 days... now honestly if I didn't go every year I would have picked PO for 14 :)
