I have read posts about lobster tail with vanilla bean sauce...It sounds so good - does anyone know which restaurant serves this dish? I searched the menus but could not find it! Thanks A Lot!:) for any info!

I think it's Narcoosee's that you want. Here's the menu. It's listed as a whole lobster, not just the tail.

Thank You KCritter!

I am so happy I already have a PS for Narcoosees! That menu looks so delicious! My BIG SALAD I'm having for dinner looks very poor right now!

We already have PSs for Narcoosees too! That's why I knew the menu, because I studied it and Citrico's for the longest time trying to decide between the two.

Most people (non-DISers) look at me like I'm nuts when I tell them what good food WDW has. All they think of is burgers and fries.

KCritter- We'll be there in May too! Its one of my favorite times to go- before Memoiral Day - Kids are still in school the weather is hot but not as hot as it does get and less crowded. The other great time to go is the week before Thanksgiving for the same reasons!

I hope you have a fun, wonderful time:D

I agree about the food in WDW....It's just like anything else, you get what you pay for. I have never been disappointed with any meal! We also have a PS for the CG - for the first time, looking forward to that one too

One of my cousins went to Disney's cooking school in order to be a chef at WDW. My mother who is a person who doesn't understand WDW or how good the food is at WDW has had nothing but negitive things to say about my cousin who did this and keeps saying who would hire her if she decides to work someplace other then WDW when she only has a degree from Disney. I have tried and tried to explain to my mother that WDW resturants are top notch and I am sure my cousin would have no problem finding a job at nearly any resturant if she decided not to work at WDW any more. Some people just don't understand.

maybe they should eat in some of the restaurants. I live just outside of NYC and have eaten in every reastaurant you can think of. One of my favorite and memorable meals was at V&A. I thought it was outstanding. It was over $500.00 for 2, and was well worth it to us as it was our honeymoon 2 years ago! I have always found the food so excellent (except Chef Mickey's the worst food I have ever eaten in WDW) Everything is fresh, well prepared and beautifully presented. I love O'hanas, Citricos, V&A's, Brown Derby, Narcoosees, 50's Prime Time (lots of fun and simple comfort campbells soup can kind food, but that's what is supposed to be!) to name a few. I could go on but I'm getting hungry.....

I would think the same, after working as a chef in WDW, you can get a job anywhere. My cousin was a chef in the Bellagio in Vegas. He was there for 2 years, he came home and can work anywhere he wants because of that experience. I would thing it is the same kind of thing! Its a great place to learn and hone your skills. Good for her!

The lobster tail with Vanilla sause is served at Narcoossee's at the Grand Floridian. We had it last October, and it was delicious!

Narcoossee's also has the absolute best Banana Split in the whole world!! My father had it (after having the lobster with vanilla sauce!!) and was kind enough to share it!! I haven't had a better banana split anywhere!!!:earseek: :earseek:

Queeni, what makes the banana split so special? The menu makes it sound kind of ordinary.

I don't know if I can wait five more weeks for this trip!
