Hi,
Which WDW guidebook is best? We (9 adults, 3 early teens) are going to WDW and a cruise in June. Passporter? Birnbaum? Unofficial Guide? Others? We will be buying one very soon. Thanks for the help!!

I liked the Passporter because it gave me enough of a decription of each attraction that I could choose if my teens would still enjoy it or not. They are also rated by Allie, and she gives kid tips. :thumbsup2

I bought it at my local AAA store but I see they are offering free media mail for orders inside the US but the offer is only good until today. :goodvibes

I see they have a Disney Cruise Line version also :)

Hope this helps!

:tink:

Passporter and Unofficial Guide are both guides I could not live without. In fact, just reread both of them today lol.

I enjoy having more then one so I can compair what they tell me, esp with ratings and the like.

The Unofficial Guide, hands down winner. It has much more information that I found useful (restaurant reviews, comments and opinions written in by readers, etc.). Other guides have "just the facts" but don't give you opinions ("Which TS restaurant is best at Epcot?"). You might not always agree with their opinions 100%, but the UG guide folks seem to do a lot of research to back up their opinions.

I don't carry a guide with me to the parks (too heavy and bulky) but use it as a reference tool beforehand. I keep it in my hotel room as a reference in case I want to look something up. I know some people like Passporter because they carry it with them in the parks (it's a way to organize your information) but I just make up small laminated cards with my ADRs and other information, so I don't have to lug around a heavy book.

Unofficial Guide is the hands down best. You won't get pretty pictures, but you will get the best information... all of it.
