Which way would be faster to get back to the Polynesian?

Let's say for example my family and I are leaving MGM or Animal Kingdom however we miss the bus back to the Polynesian by a matter of seconds. Is it faster to wait for the next bus, or wait for a bus to the TTC & once we would arrive at the TTC, we would take the Resort Monorail to the Polynesian since it's the very next stop. However I am wondering how often do the MGM/AK buses to the TTC run? If it's not as often is it best to wait for the next bus to the Polynesian?

If the TTC bus shows up first, then that would be the best choice. Since this was discused at length on a thread about who can use what transportation, you probably already knew that some people do that and walk to the Poly depending on which building they are in.

I believe that it may be the OP who in that thread implied that passengers on the bus to the TTC were offsite guests, and shouldn't be using the WDW transportation system.

Hopefully he/she has a little more empathy and understanding as to why some resort guests do use the TTC bus. It can be a good option, and the Poly is only a short walk from the TTC.

Our last stay at the Polynesian was in a room that was much closer to the TTC than it was to the Main building (monorial stop) so we often used the TTC as our destination. If a bus to the TTC bus was an option then we would do that rather than the Polynesian bus. It was less walking and more convenient for us but I don't know if it was necessarily quicker.
