Which Waterpark?

Hi
We are going back to Disney in July 2009 and we'd like to do the waterparks this time. We are going to be in parks 4 days, so I was thinking 2 of the days going to a waterpark in the morning and a park in the afternoon. Is this do-able? If not, if we should dedicate one full day to a waterpark, which one would you choose and why?
TIA

Well we just went to a water park (BLIZZARD BEACH!) and had a blast. But by 1 we were ready to get the heck out of dodge. It was crazy crowded. So I think the morning at a water park and then another park in the afternoon is a great idea. In July some of the parks stay open very very late(MK was open until 4AM one emh!!) So you will have plenty of park time.

Now on which one? They are both good. It depends on the ages of your kids. Blizzard has more "thrill rides" but a great tween section and a good little kid section. We did TL last time- the shark thing, the wave pool- all fun. This time Blizzard Beach was just as fun - so I really think look at both maps and decide which has more you'll like or try them both.

I absolutely love Typhoon Lagoon. BB didn't even compare, IMO. But I really love the atmosphere at TL and that's probably why. I love palm trees, sand, tiki torches, beach music, etc. I think I was born to live in Hawaii. LOL

Thanks everyone. Since it is possible to do a waterpark in the morning and park in afternoon into night, I think we will probably try both!!!:)

This is the plan I am thinking about...please tell me what you think.

Day 1...arrive at Pop around 10:00am, go to Hollywood Studios, supper at Sci-Fi, Fantasmic after supper

Day 2...water park in the morning, Epcot afternoon and night, supper in Norway w/princesses, stay to see fireworks

Day 3...(Our Anniversary) Breakfast at Crystal Palace, all day in Magic Kingdom
Night time we will split up, my parents are taking my DD shopping in DTD and supper at Planet Hollywood and DH and I are going to have supper at Le Cellier's in Canada and have some alone time in the parks...don't know which one yet, we will just play it by ear and see what we want to do that night

Day 4...water park in the morning, what ever park we want to go to that afternoon, end the night w/fireworks at Magic Kingdom!

TIA

Ok the only probelm you will have is that it is CRAZY crowded in July and often fastpasses for the popular rides (Like Toy Story which is so fun!!) can be gone by noon.
So by missing the mornings you are limiting your ride opportunities. EMH are the key to having fun and riding things in the summer- it seems as if you'll be missing all the EMH everyday- with the water parks and the breakfast at mk. Maybe rethink your plan on that day- or make breakfast a little later so you can do EMH rides then eat. jmho A july veteran

Talked to DH last night and we might have to add a day!!!:) I think we will be o-kay on our early breakfast b/c what we did last time is scheduled the breakfast before the park opened, so we were in really early for breakfast and once breakfast was over, we jumped on all of the rides in Fantasyland back to back with no waits. So hopefully it will work out for us like that again, but I do think we will probably need another day for parks!!:thumbsup2 We love Toy Story too!!! We are addicted to that ride!
Thanks for the advise

Are you flying? I'm just thinking your arrival day is pretty long if you are getting up really early to catch a flight and planning to stay up for Fantasmic.

If you do a waterpark in the morning and then go to Epcot, fastpasses for Soarin' and Test Track will likely be gone.

We usually do a waterpark at opening and stay through the early afternoon, then head back to the hotel to relax. We'll have an early TS ADR and maybe go mini golfing.

We would be driving in from Tallahasse, about 3 hours away, so on the road at about 7am...our first day is the same thing we did this year and it was good. But now that we are going to add a day, Epcot will have it's own day, b/c Soarin' and Test are our favorite...when I first planned my days out, I hadn't even thought about fastpasses being gone. Thank goodness for the professionals on this board!!:worship: I am really enjoying everyone's input, please keep them coming!!:)

O-kay, we are addicted, we added 2 days, one just for driving so that we can have whole days in the parks. What do you think about this?

Day 1...arrive at Disney around 3 or 4 pm...relax at hotel or DTD

Day 2...Hollywood Studios all day, supper at Sci-Fi, Fantasmic

Day3...waterpark 1st part of day, Animal Kingdom for supper at Tusker House and to see Lion King

Day 4...Epcot all day, supper in Norway, Fireworks

Day 5...(OUR ANNIVERSARY) Magic Kingdom all day, early breakfast at Crystal Palace before park opens
Night: DH and I supper at LeCellier's
DD, Mom & Dad supper at Planet Hollywood, shopping in DTD

Day 6...waterpark 1st part of day, supper at Chef Mickey, Magic Kingdom, fireworks

Day 7...Drive Home:confused:
