Which waterpark is better for a 15 month old?

We've been to both waterparks, but it's been several years & it was just my hubby & I then. The attractions/swimming area for my DD will choose a park for us - neither one of us are huge waterslide people - I just love the lazy river myself....;) :thumbsup2 LOL

I'd love to hear which waterpark you preferred for your LO's! :goodvibes

I think Typhoon Lagoon is much better for that age. I like their kiddie area, wave pool and lazy river better. Plus the park is so pretty and much more relaxing than Blizzard Beach.

I actually prefer Blizzard Beach. When DS was 17 months, we took him to both TL and BB and while TL is beautiful and relaxing, I have to admit, the wave pool there scares the heck out of me. No way I would have let him play anywhere near the wave pool. I wouldn't even bring him in it (and he loves to swim).

BB's wave pool is much calmer and he really enjoyed the kiddie waterslides and wading pool area.

Have fun wherever you decide to go!

Thanks for the suggestions so far! :goodvibes We are hoping to make it to both during our trip (assuming she still loves the water as much as she does right now! LOL) But, would like to pick the better option for the first visit just in case we don't make it a second time - we will be there in December & I know from past trips it may not be warm enough for waterparks throughout the trip.

Does anyone have pics of the children's areas at these parks? Or know of a link to find pics?

We were at WDW this past December, and only one water park was open, just fyi. I think usually one is closed for refurb in the winter. Check the refurb schedule on the dis or allears (not sure if that would be posted yet).

Yes, usually one is closed Nov-Dec and the other is closed Jan-Feb for their annual refurb. I am not sure if they will follow that same schedule this year since Typhoon Lagoon just went through a major refurb.

Thanks guys - I completely forgot one is usually closed that time of year. I guess we may not be picking which park we try out. LOL :)
