Which Water Park?

Which is nicer Blizzzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon.

Well, Blizzard Beach is newer... but Typhoon Lagoon is shadier AND has the newest slide between the two parks - Crush 'n Gusher. And Shark's Reef, where you can briefly snorkel with some sea life. But BB has MORE slides, and the ski-lift to get you up to a couple of them... but TL has the better wave pool,,,

I can't decide either - we're doing both. In the past, we have only done BB as we had a couple kids who wanted to do the big slides & Teamboat Springs. I'm really looking forward to TL!

It's a tough decision. We enjoy BB for the thrilling slides. We love the Downhill Double Dipper and Toboggan Racer, and Teamboat Springs (family raft ride) is much better than the one at TL. But the wave pool at BB is boring. We love TL for the wave pool (AMAZING!), shark reef (snorkling with sharks), and although we haven't been since the new Crush 'n' Gusher slides have opened, we've ridden the one at Schlitterbahn in TX and love it. We always have to do both because we like them for totally different reasons.

Our family has been to BB 3 times and TL once. All 5 of us agree BB is much more to our liking. Wave pool at TL is without question much better than BB's, but...just a personal family preference...we love the overall BB park.
By the way, kids are now 16, 12 and 8...but our visits go back to when they were real small, so at any age we all preferred BB.
Have fun whatever you choose....you can't make a wrong decision....they are both great!!

We really prefer TL for the beautiful, tropical atmosphere. A ski theme doesn't appeal to me much as we live in Salt Lake City now. I love TL and am always so relaxed there, plus we love the lazy river, wave pool, slides, etc.
