Which water park?

We are hoping to spend one day at a waterpark with our 1 year old. I've narrowed it down to either Typhoon Lagoon or Aquatica. DH and I have been to TL twice before but never to Aquatica so we're trying to determine which would be best for DS. It will be myself, DH, DS, DSister and her OH. Would really appreciate your input so we can make a decision thanks

I would go fir TL as aquatica is very open. Hardly any areas with shade and as you hv a baby the little kids are at TL is great even for a baby to hv a little splash. Its my personal favourite iut the three. Lovely beach areas as well

Thanks for the info. I didnt realise that Aquatica was not as shady as TL. Maybe we'd be best to stick to TL as at least we know what its like. DH and I arent interested in any rides, more interested in going to the park with the best area for toddlers

Def, Typhoon Lagoon then for a 1yr old. Probaly better at Aquatic for slightly older children - 5-6 ish

i haven't had little ones at the water parks for years, but i seem to recall that blizzard beach had a very nice area for the wee ones!

Thanks guys! After speaking to DH about it we decided that we might upgrade our MYW tickets to include Water Parks once we get there and decide. That way we can fit in both TL and BB (I reckon DS will only last 2 ish hours and as we have built a lot of free time into our itinerary we can do WPs on our "off" mornings!) Glad to get the feedback from here, now at least we know we're sticking with WDW water parks
