Which water park?

Which water park is best for kids ages 11, 9, and 5?

Both water parks are so amazing that it is hard for me to choose which one I think is best. I would say Blizzard Beach has more to offer older kids because I think they have more "thrill" slides. But the wave pool, Crush 'n' Gusher and Shark Reef at Typhoon Lagoon aren't to be missed. Too bad you can't do both. Also, sorry I wasn't much help. Even if you flip a coin to choose which one, you won't be disappointed.

check out the Ski Patrol section of BB on-line. It's great for kids from about 4-12.

Definitely BB. They wont have to haul their rafts up the stairs there, and the family raft ride is really great!!!

TL it is so much fun. You can't miss the wave pool and the shark reef it was a lot of fun to swim with sharks.

We did both last time. I liked BB more, but TL was PACKED the day we were there, which may be why I didn't like it as much.

Blizzard Beach is my vote. We were just at both parks last week, and my 7 year old daughter was too tall for the little kids area at TL, but loved the ski patrol area at BB, where my 4 year old could also play.

Where do you live???? Weird question, I know, but......

We live in the Northeast, with ski resorts everywhere around us. I found BB to be really great, but the last thing I wanted on vacation was to be reminded of the winter weather that I'll be facing when I get home!!

Over the years, TL has become our third favorite "park" on the property, ahead of both AK and DHS!! There's just something about it that appeals to us on a whole other level. That being said, we're gonna give BB another try on our upcoming trip, so we'll see if things have changed!!

Depends on the kids.

I think of Blizzard as the better "water park"---the slides are generally a little more thrilling. I think of Typhoon as the more "Disney" of the two though. It has more unique attractions, and seems to be better at creating an immersive environment. You'll want to have relatively strong swimmers at Typhoon, as two of the marquee attractions (the wave pool and shark reef) require some swimming skills to properly enjoy.

Both are great but I think Blizzard Beach might be the best choice.
