My kids are daredevils and have high energy. They will want to be able to go on the rides and the slides. Which water park do you recommend. DS is 35 1/2 inches and DD is 40 1/2 inches. Thanks. I hate to make bad decisions for the family.:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

The park with the fewest restrictions is Typhoon Lagoon. Here are the requirements at the parks ...

Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park
Chair Lift -- 32"
Downhill Double Dipper -- 48"
Slush Gusher (speed slide) -- 48"
Summit Plummet (speed slide) -- 48"
Tike's Peak (children's area) -- under 48" (122 cm).

Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park
Humunga Kowabunga (speed slide) -- 48"
Bay Slide -- under 60"
Ketchakiddee Creek (children's area) -- under 48"

I found TL to be better with the little ones...not as much territory to cover, the wave pool is fun (make sure they have on life jackets!) and lots of kiddy slides and such :)

I really like BB's Jr Ski Training Camp area. They have some decent slides, better than the ones in the little kiddie area.:wave2:

We've done both with DD's 8,5,2. We like BB better because there are more slides there than TL. There is an area for small kids, but also the Jr. training ski camp area which if your kids are dare devils, they will enjoy some of those slides too. They sit on tubes for some of them and they have to be able to hold on by themselves. Both parks are great and you will enjoy either that you choose. My girls like BB and TL even better than MK.

I agree with BB. The ski patrol area is great for kids. The time we went our kids spent almost 4 hours there before they even thought about lunch. The area is also set up so adults can go in and cool off which you won't find with TL. The wave pool at TL is just too rough. I personally like the areas at BB better.

Thank you all very much. It sounds like BB has more of what I'm looking for. My DD will be jealous of the big slides so it sounds like the Jr. slide area will satisfy her. Thanks again to all!!!:bounce: :sunny:

Princess.................Hi! Noticed your location was Tennessee. I'm from TN too......I live north of Nashville. My family and I got back from 6 days at WDW, 1 day at Sea World and 1 day at Universal. We went to BB and enjoyed it alot. We have 3 girls ages 12 1/2,
one that turns 8 tomorrow and a 4 yr old that will be 5 in Sept.
The 4 yr old is taller than most and a bit of a daredevil too. She loved the family water slide and then would race her sisters on the big slide for 8 people at one time. She loved it. Of course she also rode Tower of Terror, Splash Mtn, Thunder Mtn, AND Space Mtn!! Got mad b/c they wouldn't let her on Rock N Roller Coaster at MGM---altho I was glad I had an excuse of her height and didn't have to be the big bad mean mommy!!! My brother and his wife went last October and did TL. They liked it best so I guess it's all in what works for your family but I'll lean w/BB. The Jr Ski Patrol area is great. Are you guys driving or flying? If you need any more info please feel free to email me.
Have a MAGICAL time!!
