Which villa resort with children?

We have 3 kids and have the following feedback...

1. Wilderness Lodge is our overall favorite (BRV). The rooms are spacious and easily accessible from the main building and transport. We love the amenities it offers, food, marketplace, stores, arcade for those rainy days. Transport too and from the MK is the best via the boat dock, lots and lots of things to do for the children without being over stimulated. Our absolute favorite when taking into consideration everything.
2. BLT - we loved staying here, secretly this is my favorite hotel! However, I know my family was disappointed with the theming and it overall 'hotel' feel as opposed to Disney Resort. That said, being able to walk too and from the MK is a huge bonus! We tend to split stay here of Contemporary for this very reason.
3. I know you said the points are high, but our kids all time favorite is the Poly. Lot's going on, awesome pool, lots of kids clubs and activities, always full of families for friends and interactions etc... I personally feel it is a little too 'touristy' but its definitely the #1 on my kids lists of places to stay... so we always end up split staying here, contemporary / BLT and Wilderness Lodge if we can get it.

One of the things that cannot be underestimated is the transportation. This is perhaps one of our most important considerations. Having 3 kids and a double stroller, having to rely on buses 100% is a chore, getting space, folding up, getting cranky tired kids comfortable etc... Wilderness lodge, if you get the big boat then you just wheel it on! The wait is never long there or back to MK. Monorail access at the Poly or Contemporary is also awesome! Those are really important to our family which is why we only really stay at those places. Others have different priorities but thats ours, have a think what your families likes and dislikes are and then look at whether the price difference is worth it.

You guys are so awesome and making so many points I never would have thought of on my own. Exactly what I was looking for. I know I may very well not have options, but so helpful IF I do, to help decide which is best for my family. Especially given the constraints of a short trip! Thank you!

Lol, you keep saying that, but 4 days is the longest trip my family has every stayed at WDW ;)

Do you live locally/drive in? The airfare is the most expensive part so it’s more worthwhile for us to do a longer trip every 3 years or so. And I love the days where we get to plan nothing and just relax in between :)

If you're only doing one park per day, I would try for Boardwalk. It's great to be able to walk to two parks. I liked Contemporary more than I thought I would, but the studios are pretty small there and I don't consider the monorail to Epcot to be very convenient.
