In desperate need of a Vera Bradley fix:scared1: Ok I've been considering a new vera bag for a while now and I think I've decided on the style, but more importantly which pattern? I'm leaning towards a pink one, maybe hope toile or petal pink:confused3 I also like the citrus though, so many choices, so little $$$:rotfl:

I started a similar thread a few days ago. I was torn between pink elephants and bermuda blue.

I've decided to go with the pink elephants as it'll take me through what's left of winter and into spring too.

I'll probably pick up bermuda blue in a few months.

I have the Petal Pink and love it! I also really like the Capri Melon that just came out. I will probably get one within the month!

I just got this:

I love the Peacock pattern, I am so ready for summer! :sunny: I'm going to get the flip-flops to go with.

I'm still rocking the Chelsea Green, but since it is retiring, I am really liking the Pink Elephants!:cutie:

I love the new Peacock pattern and also the Java Blue and Windsor Navy. When I decide to get a new one I go to the website and check out what each pattern looks like on the style I want. Sometimes patterns look different on different styles. I think I may go out today before the storm hits and pick up a new one!!

I love the bermuda blue and the capri melon. I can't wait for spring to come!

I have 2 Vera's and one is the Petal Pink in the spectator bag (which is my fav pick of bag style and I think they discontinued it). I Love my petal pink bag. It is such a day brightener!!

Okay ladies...I've been looking at these and considering buying one but I think I'm just :confused3

What is the attraction? What is so special about these bags? I mean, I remember having cotton bags when I was a kid...

That sounds like I don't like the bags. That's not true, I do like them but am a bit worried they look "unprofessional".

I'm the kind of person who has one purse and uses it until it needs replaced (strap breaks, etc.)...so tell me why I should buy one of these (i.e. give me some good reasons!!:rotfl: )

I used to be a one purse lady too! Now I have several of these. I like them because the keep me organized. They have lots of interier pockets for all my stuff. I have a teen daughter and it is a lot of fun for us to have something in common. I do agree that they are not what I would call office material, but as a SAHM I don't need a professional looking bag!

In our area they are all the rage and it is fun to see a product reach so many different ages.

I'm the opposite kind of purse person, I have a ton of purses and like to switch them out every week or so. The Vera bags are fun because they aren't very expensive and the colors are cheerful and they come in so many different shapes. And on the practical side, if you get them dirty, they can just get tossed in the wash.

In my area, teenagers are going crazy for VB bags. I think they are great for any age. I would use it as a "work purse" if it matched my outfit. I tend to change bags a lot.

Mom, is that you?!?!! :rotfl:

My Mother is a one-purse, wear it out til it's ugly lady and doesn't care for Vera Bradley.
I like them because they are machine washable.

As for professional vs unprofessional, guess that would depend on your profession? I have seen nurses, teachers, realtors, pharmacists with these bags and never thought that they looked unprofessional but that is probably because I like the bags.

My favorite piece is the strap wallet. Great to toss in a bag real quick or to carry alone. Holds all credit cards, check book, id, and a hook for a pen. I bought my niece and SIL wallets for the holidays. They have enjoyed them as much as I have.

Carp...do you have any idea how old you just made me feel?;)

I actually do kinda like the bags, and I was really wondering about the machine washable part (didn't want to look dumb and ask that at first  )

I'm beginning to think that their professional look (or lack thereof?) may not be as big a deal to me...I don't know...maybe I'll see where I can find them around here and then decide.

I bought my Mom the Java blue and she loves it.
I have Citrus, Bermuda pink, bermuda blue, and just recently added....

Peacock. It is really pretty in real life...the pics don't do it justice. :)
