Which value resort?

We are considering a budget trip for the last week of September and can't decide which value to stay at. The POP looks closer to most attractions(not renting a car), my concern is the resort is still being completed so will the construction take away from the magic or is it not noticable? I have no desire to stay at a moderate and the deluxe is out of our budget for this trip. Stayed at the Boardwalk last trip.

I believe POP was originally designed to be two "resorts" with one on each side of the hourglass lake. The Classic Years side is completed and is a great place to stay. The Early Years (i think it was going to be called) was only started and just a few buildings are standing now, but they don't take away from the magic at all. We just returned from our second trip to POP and it is a great place to stay. We have also stayed at moderates and deluxes and POP is one of our favorites! You will not be disappointed!

We didn't see any construction when we were there last week.

How is the Boardwalk? We are considering staying there next trip. I love the location. I had no idea that it was *that* close to EPCOT. You'll have to share your experience there. LOL

POP is very cool!!! But, I love ASMo. It's my fave value resort. It's just so much fun and I love the huge dalmations and the whole theme!!!! I would go to POP with older kids and ASMo with smaller kids.

I agree. Having stayed at both Pop and All Star Movies...I prefer movies.

Yes, there is no construction at POP right now.

I loved POP! It was great and had a blast during spring break!

Liked POP because it is the newest of the values. Also it does not share a bus with other resorts-All Star's goes to movies, music and sports.

Having stayed at all the values I do like the Movies but I prefer Pop because it is newer....we never noticed the unfinshed buildings until we walked around exploring. I didn't feel it took away from the magic at all....have a great time!
