Which Value Resort ???

I got a suprise and my man said we should do a trip to Disney for just us no kids .... Oh what a thought!!

We have been twice now both time in the frist week of Dec. Both times we stayed at the Movies and quite liked it. Buses were good with in 20 mins or faster, not too crowded other then coming back at park close. Food court wasn't too busy like the selections.

So the delema now is I'm thinking all this money on a trip we should be brave and try somewhere different. Thinking Pop as I hear lots about it. Looking for everyone eles reviews to help me decide.

I think POP would be great, but if you could swing a great deal (especially since you won't be paying for park tickets for all your kids! ) I think you should try to get into a Mod. for a little more $. I'd love to stay at CSR or CBR sometime with just DH. Well, okay I'd really love to stay at Poly with DH!

I have stayed at Movies and Music and liked them both. Have visited POP and thought it looked really cool and loved their food court. Given a choice I would probably pick POP.

We have stayed at All Star Movies and Pop Century and preferred pop century because it was quieter and has it's own buses. The All Stars share their buses. Which is a problem when you are visiting during a busy time of year (my opinion).

Pop also has more of a grown up feeling, (also, just my opinion...lol.)

No matter where you stay, I'm sure it will be a different experience all together without the kids, so enjoy it!

Wondering how busy does the food court get at Pop I found at movies is was quiet in the early AM.

I like ASMusic. At POP we had rather noisy neighbors and the foodcourt was CRAZY every minute of the day!

I was wondering about that if Pop is as one of the popular locations wouldn't that make it more busy of a resort over the other All star ones??

Yes, I know people will get upset, but this is my views on POP. I could hear the people next door and above us. We could never use the foodcourt because there were tons of people there.

We have stayed at AS music and AS sports never had any problems with noisy neighbors and we used the foodcourt often. I prefer AS Music.

We stayed at Pop in a preferred room for 5 nights in Sept for free dining. We really enjoyed it! The walk from the room to the buses and food court was awesome. We were in room 5364, overlooking the Hippy Dippy (flower) pool. People had said that the rooms overlooking the pool were noisy. I can say, unless you sleep during the day, they are quiet enough. I heard the occasional noisy kids walking by at night, but the pool was empty by 10pm every night. Our room was about a 2 minute walk to both the buses and the food court when walking at a normal pace. If we stay at Pop again, we will go with another preferred room overlooking the pool.

Was at POP August 2009 and had a great time. The food court was super busy in the morning, but I found it to be ok most of the time. My room was facing the kiddie pool and we never had any problem with noise from neighbors. We were on the third floor. I would do POP again without hesitation, but I'm taking more kids August 2010 so we'll being staying ASMu Family Suite.

But, if it were just me and the husband I'd try and go mod or deluxe.
