Which value for 1 night?

We are arriving one day earlier than our DVC reservation. 6 adults traveling with 4 kids (6,5,4, and 2) I had made a res. for the AoA mermaid room but my DGS is scared to death of the seawitch and there she is front and center! So now I am rethinking we will need 3 rooms and will not be arriving until around 8pm so we will just need to eat and maybe have the kids have a quick swim. We will be checking out early, probablly by 9_9:30. Thoughts please?

Oh Gosh, too bad she is afraid since the LM rooms would be perfect for one night. We are staying at the Allstars Music over labor day, and it will be our first stay at a value. One of my prior trips, I spent the day looking at the various resorts and liked ASMU the best, as I especially liked all the greenery. POP could work for you, as you can also walk over to AOA through the bridge and eat at either resort. POP is also the largest value and is built around a pretty lake. It was the most recent of the values to be refurbished, which is another plus! Couldn't you get your DGS to close her eyes, or tell her it's the sea witches twin that has the good heart???

Maybe try the ASMo resort for the one night. I believe they may still have the Toy Story Rooms and I know they have Dalmation Rooms. If your DGS likes 101 Dalmations (or puppies in general) that could be a fun place for him. The pool is built around the Fantasia Theme and has The Apprentice Mickey spraying water.

If it only for one night... and really all you'll be doing is sleep maybe movie would be good. There room discounts for value resorts are good until today so if you were thinking of booking a value resort for sure id do it asap we are staying All Star Sports for 70-80 per night! Good luck!

I do agree with the saying the sea witch is the nice twin though!

For one night with a later arrival, I would pick whichever one you can get the best deal on.Edited to add a pp is incorrect. Movies was the most recently refurbed completing in November of last year.

You're going to be there for about 12 hours and most of those hours you'll be asleep. It doesn't matter where you stay.

How are you getting to the World drive/fly? Will you have cars/rentals?

If you have transportation, nothing wrong with staying off-site for one night and saving quite a few $$$. Just get up, have breakfast, drive to resort, check in and off to the parks.

Thanks for your replies. We (me and DGS) watched videos last night of AoA. He loved the Nemo pool and we did notice that Ursula (seawitch) was smiling. We used the good twin line and we were all able to book 3 rooms for the night. I asked the CM jokingly to not put us next to the seawitch!!!! LOL. Thanks for the suggestions.

I liked Music when I stayed there. Small, quiet, no scary icons.

Just a heads up....in July we went to take a tour of AoA and the Mermaid section is really far from the main building/pool. I was very surprised to see exactly how far it was. All the buildings on the property are spaced out much more than the other value resorts.

I would go with Pop Century. Stayed there numerous times and its always been our favorite value resort!
