How do you decide on the one? :confused3 We are planning to rent next year and I am getting overwhelmed just looking. Is there a map of the neighborhoods so we can see their actual location in town and distances to attractions? So many have the same amenities and look very similiar. Is it word of mouth or do you just take the plunge and hope that the descriptions and pictures are accurate. I am also concerned about parking. We are a large family, there will be 3 or 4 rental cars is that permitted or is there a limit to each property?
I would so appreciate your suggestions and advice.

Thanks so much,

Cherie :)

Here's a map of villa locactions:

I just kind of take the plunge. After searching, choosing amenities, getting quotes, I just jump in with the best price for what I want (usually). There was one townhome last year where there was just something I didn't like about the owner - responses not quick, not complete. So even though the price was really low, I decided not to pick that one.

About parking... last December we had 3 vehicles. Two fit well in the driveway of a villa but we had to park one on the street. I emailed the owner before I booked to see if that was allowed. In this area it was, but in another it wasn't. So you have to ask before booking.

After almost getting burned by a company that was not reputable I put aside my pride and asked here on the DIS boards...what a help. I was able to find a reputable family whose home we have stayed at 4 times. We will go again and stay in the same home...we are creatures of habit, lol! You can find information about them on romancingthemouse.com good luck!

This is one we just stayed at this past Feb/Mar. We loved it. It's a nice young couple that owns it. 2 master suites with full baths, two bedrooms with twin beds in each, both rooms share one bath. Pool and jacuzzi. It was only about 4 miles from the Disney exit. Owners were great to work with.

Hi!
Definately check on the parking situation.
Alot of homeowners have had their garage changed into a games room. Thus limiting parking to driveway.
On most communities with active HOAs - no,over night parking on streets is allowed. So best check to be on safe side
You can look on www.lastminutevillas.net for a selection of villas

Happy house hunting,
Lynn
